Continuous Variables
Continuous variables are numerical variables that can take on any value within a range of values. In data science, continuous variables are often used in statistical analysis and machine learning models. These variables can be measured on a scale, such as time, weight, height, temperature, or distance. Continuous variables are different from discrete variables, which can only take on specific values. In statistical analysis, continuous variables are often analyzed using measures of central tendency, such as mean, median, and mode, as well as measures of variability, such as standard deviation and variance. In machine learning, continuous variables are often normalized or standardized to improve model performance.
