TCP
TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) is a standard communication protocol that is used to establish a connection between two devices over a network. It provides reliable, ordered, and error-checked delivery of data between applications running on hosts communicating via an IP network. TCP is a connection-oriented protocol, which means that a connection is established and maintained until the application programs at each end have finished exchanging messages. TCP also includes flow control and congestion control mechanisms to ensure that data is transmitted efficiently and without overwhelming the network.
