P-value
P-value is a statistical measure that helps scientists determine whether or not their hypotheses are correct. It is the probability of obtaining a test statistic at least as extreme as the one that was actually observed, assuming that the null hypothesis is true. In other words, it tells us how likely it is that the results we obtained were due to chance. If the p-value is less than the significance level (usually 0.05), then we reject the null hypothesis and conclude that there is a statistically significant difference between the groups being compared. If the p-value is greater than the significance level, then we fail to reject the null hypothesis and conclude that there is not enough evidence to support a difference between the groups.
