Output Variable
In data science and artificial intelligence, an output variable is a variable that represents the predicted or desired outcome of a model. It is the variable that the model is trying to predict or estimate based on the input variables. Output variables can be continuous or categorical, depending on the type of problem being solved. In regression problems, the output variable is continuous, while in classification problems, the output variable is categorical. The accuracy of a model is measured by how well it predicts the output variable based on the input variables.
