Interrupt-driven is a programming paradigm in which the execution of a program is determined by the occurrence of events, called interrupts, that cause the processor to temporarily halt the current task and switch to a different task. In data science and artificial intelligence, interrupt-driven programming is often used in real-time systems, where the system must respond quickly to external events, such as sensor readings or user input. In these systems, interrupts are used to trigger the execution of specific code that handles the event, allowing the system to respond in a timely manner. Interrupt-driven programming can also be used in parallel processing, where multiple tasks are executed simultaneously and interrupts are used to synchronize the tasks and ensure that they do not interfere with each other.
