Confidence Interval
In statistics, a confidence interval is a range of values that is likely to contain an unknown population parameter with a certain level of confidence, based on a given set of sample data. The level of confidence is typically expressed as a percentage, and the width of the interval depends on the variability of the data and the sample size. A confidence interval is used to estimate the precision of a sample statistic and to provide a range of plausible values for the population parameter. The wider the interval, the less precise the estimate, and the narrower the interval, the more precise the estimate.
