Nonlinear Programming
Nonlinear programming is a mathematical optimization method that deals with finding the optimal solution for a problem where the objective function or the constraints are nonlinear. In other words, it is a technique used to solve optimization problems where the objective function or the constraints are not linear. Nonlinear programming problems can be solved using various methods such as gradient-based methods, Newton's method, and Quasi-Newton methods. These methods involve iteratively improving the solution until the optimal solution is found. Nonlinear programming has various applications in fields such as engineering, economics, finance, and machine learning.
