Object-oriented Programming

Object-oriented programming (OOP) is a programming paradigm that uses objects to represent and manipulate data. It is based on the concept of classes and objects, where a class is a blueprint for creating objects and objects are instances of a class. OOP focuses on encapsulation, inheritance, and polymorphism. Encapsulation is the process of hiding the implementation details of an object from the outside world, while inheritance allows classes to inherit properties and methods from other classes. Polymorphism allows objects to take on multiple forms, depending on the context in which they are used. OOP is widely used in software development, as it allows for modular and reusable code, making it easier to maintain and update software systems.
